Our Story

Suzanne Sarwatka, Mellow Maids Founder

Our story...hmmmm. Well I suppose our story begins with my story. What can I tell you about myself that would capture my essence in a few short paragraphs? My name is Suzanne Sarwatka and here are the highlights: 

I am a college grad who paid her way through college dancing. I am passionate about leaving this world more beautiful than I find it, so I got my degree in organic agriculture. I am married to my best friend and favorite person. We raised an incredible young man. He also loved to make this world more beautiful. He did that by rehabilitating injured people and by creating a non profit that paired special-needs children with high-school baseball players for a fun-filled day that encouraged inclusion. 

What wouldn't make it into every bio is that I lost that son far too soon. The process of rebuilding myself has been helped by taking control of my environment when my insides felt out of control. I found that minimizing, organizing and cleaning the space around me often made me feel better when little else did. I began by doing this alone in my home. When I found joy in it, I started doing it for friends too. This coupled with having a best friend who owns a successful cleaning company in Montana.. well I suppose that's our origin story!

I love making others peoples lives more beautiful and love creating jobs for others so that they can do the same. Thank you for the honor of inviting us into your home and providing us the opportunity to do what we love.
